Ever since I’ve learned about Matcha Green tea and it’s benefits, I’ve been addicted and have added it to my diet. I sometimes drink it plain, or make a latte. Today, I will show you how to make the Latte. But first;
What is Matcha Green Tea:
Matcha is finely ground powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves. It is special in two aspects of farming and processing: the green tea plants used for matcha are shade-grown for three to four weeks before harvest, and the stems and veins are removed during processing. When turned into finely ground powder, and mixed in warm water, you consume the leaves rather than essence of the tea. This is one of the reasons that this tea is powerful. You will find the high quality Matcha from Japan.

Benefits for Skin:
Not only does it reduce inflammation, it also exfoliates and eliminates dead skin cells ( if used in skin care). Also, rejuvenate the underlying skin to improve your complexion.
You will need:
Matcha Green Tea Powder : 1/2 or 1 Teaspoon ( depends on how strong you like it)
Bamboo Whisk or Electric Frother ( see my Amazon shop page for Bamboo Whisk and Electric Foamer )
Warm Water: 1/3 Cup
Hot Milk: ( Milk of your choice) 2/3 Cup
Raw Honey : 1 Teaspoon
Note: 1) You can only use Milk. 2) Very hot Water/Milk can take way the nutrient, so war/medium hot is preferred.
In your cup, mix Matcha Green tea and warm water. Mix the two either with Bamboo Whisk or Electric Frother until the mixer becomes frothy (I have the electric Frother). Then do the same with the milk. Slowly add the milk to the tea then add the Honey. Kick back, take a deep breath, and enjoy!
Love, xo
