I love boosting my immune system this Holiday season by making this simple recipe during the colder months. It’s nice to have these cubes in the freezer ready to just toss in a cup of hot water, and drink daily.
Wash the produce well and you don’t peel anything.
🍊1 Orange
🍋1/2 Lemon
🌼 2-3 pieces fresh Turmeric root
🌼 2-3 pieces fresh Ginger
🍯 1/3 cup Honey or Manuka Honey
🥥 1 cup Coconut milk ( optional or milk of your choice)
🧊 1 cup water or Coconut water
🧂 1 tsp Black Pepper
Blend everything together until smooth. You can strain into a cheese cloth, but I don’t mind the texture. Transfer to an ice cube tray and freeze overnight.
